Start a new assistant conversation or return to an existing one from the conversation menu. Each conversation keeps its own model choice. Haiku is the default; other choices include Opus, Luna, Terra, Sol, and **Brain dump · Opus**.

Use **Stop** to cancel a response. A running response can continue when you hide the panel or close a tab, and reconnect when you return.

Long conversations can summarize earlier turns while retaining recent messages for the next response. The transcript marks these with **Earlier conversation summarized**, which expands to show the working summary. Original stored messages are retained. Summaries can omit details, so restate anything especially important when continuing.
