## Create a world

Sign in to ImagineMate. On **Your worlds**, choose **New world**, enter a name, and add a premise if you have one. A world is a separate workspace: its bible, conversations, books, boards, and media belong to that world.

Open the world to see its navigation and assistant. The **Overview** gives you a starting point and a summary of activity.

## Add your first idea

You can start in either way:

- Open **Bible**, choose **New entry**, select a type, and enter a name and summary.
- Open the assistant and describe the idea in your own words. For example: “Mara is a cartographer from a coastal village. Maybe her brother disappeared during the war.”

Read the assistant's reply and check what it recorded. An uncertain idea should stay an **idea**, not silently become canon. You can correct the assistant in chat or edit the entry directly.

## Start writing

Open **Books**, create a book, then add a chapter in its **Manuscript** tab. The chapter editor saves as you write. Book synopsis, outline, title, and settings use explicit save buttons.

## Keep your world organized

Use [relationships](/relationships) to connect entries, the [timeline](/timeline) to place events, and [Consistency](/consistency) to review possible contradictions. A board is useful for arranging references visually.

You do not need to define every detail before writing. Add the information that matters to the story and leave meaningful gaps as open questions.
