Chat models and longer conversations
Choose a model for each assistant conversation, switch between chats, and continue long discussions with expandable summaries that retain the original messages.
Start a new assistant conversation or return to an existing one from the conversation menu. Each conversation keeps its own model choice. Haiku is the default; other choices include Opus, Luna, Terra, Sol, and Brain dump · Opus.
Use Stop to cancel a response. A running response can continue when you hide the panel or close a tab, and reconnect when you return.
Long conversations can summarize earlier turns while retaining recent messages for the next response. The transcript marks these with Earlier conversation summarized, which expands to show the working summary. Original stored messages are retained. Summaries can omit details, so restate anything especially important when continuing.
