Current capabilities and limits
Understand what ImagineMate supports today, including manuscript assistance, offline access, export, revision history, and unfinished features.
Available now
ImagineMate supports a structured story bible, glossary and languages, a timeline, books and collaborative chapters, collaborative boards, media references, world sharing, assistant conversations, and consistency checks.
Important limits
- The assistant’s standard world tools work with the bible and glossary. They do not automatically read or rewrite open manuscripts or operate every part of the interface.
- An uploaded file is not automatically read in full by chat.
- Local browser copies improve performance and resilience, but the app is not fully usable offline. Canonical bible edits and server operations need a connection.
- Chapter and board checkpoints are not a universal undo history for all world data.
- A complete world or book export workflow is not currently documented as an available product feature. File downloads and recovered-writing downloads are narrower actions.
- Canon, idea, and retired statuses do not create independent branches of a world.
- A feature labeled soon is not yet available.
- Model-based suggestions and checks can be mistaken. Review them before treating them as decisions.
