Media and references

Upload images, audio, video, models, and documents, then attach the useful references to entries in your world.

The Media page collects files uploaded to the world, including images, audio, video, 3D models, code, and documents.

Upload files

Choose Upload or drop files on the Media page. Wait for the upload to finish before closing the tab. Uploads need a working connection.

Preview support varies by file kind. If a format does not have an inline preview, use its file link with an appropriate app.

Link media to an entry

Use Link to an entry on a media card and choose a bible entry. You can also work with linked references from an entry’s page. A link gives the reference context without putting all of the file’s content into the entry’s summary.

Remove files carefully

Removing a media file is different from changing an entry’s text. Use the deliberate delete control only when you no longer need the uploaded file. Do not assume chapter and board history restores deleted media files.

What the assistant reads

Uploading a file does not automatically give the chat assistant its full contents. Its standard tools read the structured world bible. Consistency checks may inspect supported linked media when looking for mismatches; that is a separate process from general chat.
